Despite the new subjects being unimaginably good! Oh yes - the subjects were brilliant. After all, what's not to love about Web Page Design, Marine Science and then eventually, after being taken to a university-like facility, desktop publishing?

It's hard to enjoy those exceedingly wonderful things when you're keeled over, almost crying from pain for most of it - and unwanting, as well as knowing that doing so would subtract from, the very few class skips we're allowed to have this year before we fail. It came so suddenly, too - it was like I was completely fine, and then this screwdriver came and stabbed me in the stomach. And continued stabbing for the good part of the day.

It's... getting worse every month. I'm starting to get worried at how I'd ever manage to hold a part time job if I was trying to clean or serve someone, and then suddenly gasped, keeled over and was pretty-much rendered as useless for the duration. It's so bad that when it hits, it takes my breath away... I've tried paracetamol AND aspirin, as well as another something-or-other the school nurse gave me. But none work for a decent amount of time, and they stop long before I can take something else again. Plus, I'm worried that my blood will thin out if I have too much Aspirin, despite it working the best out of the three of them.

I know there's no way you can stop the pain completely, but this is just getting awful. I wish there was something else I could do about it... Stomach cramps suck so much; it's not even funny...

Oh dear, where have I been? *slaps self* Haven't been around here, at any rate. Still haven't properly explored - I think I'm still fretting at the sheer mass of my many dA messages and even greater number of emails. I really must take one day off in which I get through that in its entirety.

But, all that aside, I finished Chocky this evening and found myself wondering if I should compile a list of all the actual novels I've read (not too many, unfortunately) and all of the ones that I'm planning to read. Just so I can, you know, keep up with them. And because I'm also trying to waste time. ;) So here it is, from what I can remember;

What I Have Read:
Chocky by John Wyndham
The Road to Rhondo by Emily Rodda
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K.Rowling
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K.Rowling
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K.Rowling
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K.Rowling
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K.Rowling
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K.Rowling
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K.Rowling
The Witches by Roald Dahl
Matilda by Roald Dahl
Boy by Roald Dahl (not essentially a novel, but enjoyable enough to make the list)
George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl
Something about a centipede, though I can't remember the name.
Doctor Who: Martha in the Mirror (this was okay. It was interesting, I'll admit, but it didn't grab me. Plus I noticed a few grammatical errors that should've been caught early in production. I think I'll stick to the television series)
Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
A New Kind of Dreaming by Anthony Eaton (didn't like it. It dragged something awful)

What I am Going to Read:
The Diamond Age (reading it now)
The Dark is Rising
The Giver
The Discworld Novels (thinking about giving these a go soon... I've grown to rather like Pratchett from Good Omens)
A few sci-fi books my Nan owns.
Twilight (must see for myself what all the conroversy is about, despite knowing the basic plot and already mocking it)
The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy (started reading it at one point, but didn't keep going. Can't remember why)
His Dark Materials: Northern Lights (got it as a Christmas present a while back... I should probably look at that soon)
The Gathering (for school)
Animal Farm (for school)
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (for school)

Any suggestions for other books that I might like considering what I've got listed here are most-certainly welcome. :D I tend to be a sucker for speculative fiction, sci-fi and some fantasy. And comedy - that's good too.

I saw it on quettalinde 's journal, so I decided to try it and thought "Perfect..." XD

In 2009, moonlightaurora resolves to...
Take quettalinde writing.
Go to the hurricanes every month.
Cut down to ten natural disasters a day.
Take evening classes in electronica.
Overcome my secret fear of tidle waves.
Buy new fawlty towers.
Get your own New Year's Resolutions:

Also... this 1000 word a day challenge is starting to wear at me, I think. But I'll keep going. Must... keep... going! That's my other, real resolution for this year.

After about a week of hovering in between yes and no, (and, not to mention, I nice lengthy list of pros and cons) I finally did it. I finally got a LiveJournal.

Yes, I am the not-so-elusive MoonlightUmbreon that you could possibly know from Fanfiction.net or deviantART. I was going to have my username as MoonlightUmbreon, but it turned out it was one character too long. So after about half an hour (yes, I took that long) of wondering about a different name, I came up with this, hoped to all-heck that it wasn't taken, (much like everything else I'd tried) and went for it.

So yeah, a little about me, if you want. No, you are not getting my city/street address/full name and credit card number, (apart from the fact I don't even have a credit card number) and my muse will probably have you killed Sweeney Todd-style if you ask. But she better not, because if figments of my imagination start to become real, then there's something seriously wrong. And, not to mention, the world as we know it might be in imminent danger. But anyway, this's all coming from Australia. Because it has been mistaken before, no, I am not a boy. *facepalm* I'm intending to use this pretty-much like my dA journal, though it'll probably be a fair bit more often. Mainly because I'm always paranoid about spamming people with extra journals over there - but over here, I'm kinda guessing that that's some of the intention. *laughs*

I have absolutely no idea why it's taking so long for me to write this... I guess I've always had trouble with these first post and about me sorta things, so I think I'll cut it short. So basically, hi to the people I already know, and... hi to the others I don't know! I have more stuff in my profile, if you want to keep reading.

And just before I go, I'd like to thank quettalinde , because without her I probably wouldn't have gotten an LJ, and would have barely known and probably wouldn't have cared that much about its existence. ^^
